I have a long history of avoiding dentists offices and putting visits off until I absolutely can not. I was in an incredible amount of pain from a cracked tooth and went online to make an appointment after weeks of being nagged to by my family after the pain became absolutely unbearable over the weekend. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find an appointment for that day (Monday) online but thought it was worth a call. The woman I spoke to was kind and reassuring and able to get me in just an hour later. I walked in after not being able to sleep due to pain over the weekend and unable to focus and the office manager was so incredibly kind and reassuring and actually able to make me comfortable. I had X rays and they took a picture of the cracked tooth so I could see the cause of all my pain and a prompt visit with a kind dentist who informed me I'd have to have a procedure to remove the tooth when their oral surgeon was in on Wednesday. While this would usually terrify me the dentist was equally reassuring and let me know I was in control and they would do whatever it took to get me out of pain. I can't imagine anybody is as kind as this woman was on a regular basis and feel like the office manager had to let her know I was anxious about being in the dentist office because it was an incredible experience. I've received worse customer service and been more uncomfortable at spas then I was at this dentist office. The office manager went over the projected costs of the procedure and could tell I was immediately discouraged. She went so far above and beyond to take care of me and make sure I was able to afford my procedure and set the appointment. Unfortunately my schedule took a turn and the night before my appointment I called thinking I would have to cancel and terrified I would have to spend another week in pain. Instead the manager answered the phone (I waited until after five hoping I wouldn't have to talk to a person as I felt guilty and scared) and immediately reached out to other patients and was able to shift me to a time I could be there. I went in the next day and Dr. Johnson was incredibly good, I had opted to do the procedure under local instead of being put to sleep because of finances and I was discouraged to say the least, the manager told me she had in fact had the same procedure and done it under local and swore I would be ok - but I absolutely thought she was insane. Now I am so thankful I listened to her because the procedure was so quick and I had immediate relief. I think I took ibpruffen once to sleep that evening and have been pain free ever since. Give the office manager a crown and raise. For the first time in my life I am not afraid of the dentist, I'm actually excited to be able to start taking care of my teeth which have been neglected for far too long. Thank you for giving me back my smile!

I have yet to actually receive work here, but I have been working on my treatment plan with Shandel Jones. She has been absolutely wonderful, very empathetic and so willing to work with me however slowly I need to go. I have confidence going into my first appointment :)
